The town is great but trade winds inn is possibly the worst inn I've ever been to. The breakfast is terrible, the service was horrible and they're prices are not worth it. I would choose from any other inn or hotel in the area except for trade winds. Never again.
I was concerned about some of the reviews I read, and pulling in the Inn looked past it's prime, but I should not have judged a book by its cover. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but our deluxe King suite was worth it. It was discount with a sitting area, beautiful bath with jacuzzi tub and large shower, the bedroom was big and decorated with a nice beachy feel, electric fireplace was a nice touch, and we had a great view of the harbor. The Continental breakfast was much more than I was expecting and even included pancakes popping fresh out of the pancake maker, omelettes, oatmeal with toppers, bagels and muffins and fresh fruit. Plus they had real dishes and silverware available. The free WiFi worked just fine too. Very pleased with our stay and the location was great too. We could walk to places to eat and some local attractions too.
Great place for a great price on rooms, and good accomadations. Beautiful views of Rockland Harbor.
Really nice rooms, maids keep the rooms nice and clean and you have a really nice view from the balcony... Everything is also close nearby (in walking distance)
This Inn is nice and comfortable. We have a water view and it's beautiful. The bathroom is small but nice. We would stay here again.
