Our experience in one word - Wonderful! After reading the reviews, we felt we had to experience all that the mansion has to offer, including Mikes wacky hats and musical stuffed animal collection. The home is truly gorgeous, the staff courteous and non intrusive, ready to assist you in any way possible. It definitely is the cleanest B&B we have ever stayed in. From the rooms to the breakfast and the pies, lets not forget fresh baked pies everyday, everything is first class. Each room reflects Mike and Cheryl's utmost care and attention to detail, they strive to create the Victorian experience of days past, in a modern high speed world. Looking forward to returning and spending more than one night.
I cannot say enough positive things about the Berry Manor Inn. My husband and I have been faithful patrons for the past 5-6 years and it is a trip we look forward to every year. Cheryl and Mike and the rest of the BMI staff are so welcoming, attentive, and warm and make you feel right at home. The house/property is gorgeous (and insanely clean) with delicious breakfast (and the pies!!). It is always such a relaxing stay and they are quick to assist with anything you may need -- whether reservations or tips on what to do. The Rockland area is stunning with so much to do depending on what you are looking for and never disappoints. I highly recommend the Berry Manor Inn, you will not be disappointed!
Portland and love our 2 day getaways. The room was beautiful, the staff so accommodating, the pantry was so nice. We loved sitting by the fire in our robes enjoying coffee. A true gem. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommend this Inn.

My husband and I eloped to Berry Manor in June and it was the most romantic and wonderful experience we could have imagined. Our room was the perfect blend of comfort, nostalgia and romance, not to mention it was immaculately kept. The food was fantastic and served up with humor and style. Cheryl and Mike, the owners, treated us like family, and their dedicated staff answered any questions we had with a sincere eagerness to help. The atmosphere was upbeat and fun the whole time, and oh gosh, the pies!! We purchased the elopement package, and Berry Manor made our wedding stress free and elegant. We had a video made while there that we will treasure always. We will definitely be back on our anniversary. If you are considering a wedding package or just a romantic getaway at Berry Manor, do not think twice; it will be enchanting.
The rooms were lovely and well-appointed; the common areas felt like home; the owner was helpful and as friendly as a relative, singing and joking with the guests at breakfast. The staff was so friendly; enjoyed the hugs goodbye! Tasty pies (but wished for apple)! The food was enjoyable and beautifully presented! Made for a wonderful sisters trip. Lovely little towns and beautiful scenery...especially in the fall. Wish it was closer to home so I could be there more often.
