Wonderful old theatre now renovated. Comfortable seats, great films and concerts.
Attended Understanding Opera 101 with Dr. Marianna Mihai-Zoeter, which was a terrific introduction to a most fearsome form of theater. Plan to attend future Opera events after doing my homework.
I wish I lived in Rockland because I would be a member for sure. Such a cool retro cinema playing hit indies and live performances. Also, the balcony bar is awesome!
The Strand is a great gift to Rockland and the mid coast of Maine. A wonderfully, comfortable and intimate environment very much unlike the sterile strip mall theaters of this world. Sound and acoustics are great and I disagree with one of the other reviewers about the prices at the concession. They are right in line with what it takes to help support
