This grocery store has a good selection, especially of meats, fresh fruit and vegetables, and boxed and canned items. The prices on live lobster are also rather good too. Finally, there is a pharmacy in the store and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Store is clean and well lit, good selection, decent prices, friendly staff. My one gripe, is the produce section. It's ok but they routinely freeze some produce and often have poor selections of simple items like apples or grapefruits.
Hannaford is a wonderful, we'll stocked supermarket! The employees are friendly, helpful and full of product information!
Some things are too expensive. I can get the same quality stuff at a cheaper price and MORE of it than when I shop at hannaford. Hannaford is not good for buying in bulk, therefore you dont have much money. They also just got new self checkouts and they are horrible. You cant even see your total price until you press finish and pay, unlike at walmart as you enter each item you can see it add to your total price. Totally not user friendly. I only go here if there is a really good deal on something or if its something of a specaily item like chese or uncommon herbs i will go here. I will also say the baking isle is horrible. Its a cluster of stuff and not as much variety and options as walmart.
Prices are a little high, but the quality of service and selection is the best of the grocery stores locally. Many healthy choices and clear identification of locally produced products. The staff are all friendly and willing to give the shopper help.
